It is also important at Sterling for us to make a difference in our own backyard of our global headquarters in Chicago by giving back to youth education to enrich the lives of tomorrows leaders.

Thousands of local non-profits help strengthen the community, Sterling has selected the following Chicagoland organizations to support:

Friendship Center Chicago
The Friendship Center has successfully operated as a food pantry for more than 45 years providing food to its neighbors in need serving parts of the Lincoln Square, Ravenswood, and West Ridge neighborhoods where an estimated 5,500 people are food insecure.

WITS (Working in the Schools) Chicago
WITS is a movement of educators, volunteers and investors that come together to serve Chicago Public Schools elementary students and the largest provider of literacy programming in Chicago Public Schools.

Year Up Chicago
Year Up Chicago is a one-year, intensive training program that provides under-served young adults, ages 18-24, with a combination of hands-on skills development, coursework eligible for college credit, corporate internships, and wraparound support.
